I have a site meter on my blog, and can see where the visitors to my site reside, and their internet address and how they came to my site. I keep getting a visitor who comes to my site, through this site, from good ol' Jacksonville, Florida. I would bet all of my debt pennies that it is Bass and Associates checking in to see the latest threads about them and what is on my site about them.


Most of Bass's accounts are illegal pdls and that coupled with the illegal collection tactics would not survive any court system even a judge with dementia would see they have not a single leg to stand on. On every complaint that they allege to be attornies,please contact Florida bar association as this is an unauthorized practice of law. I also ask everyone to file an additional complaint with these people here:

Leah,you are very correct.When you find out who actually has access to that type of info,it scares the shi* out of anyone. I know most people don't do this,but I recommend 24 hour credit monitoring in our day and age. Most services would run less than $20/month.Mine is dirt cheap,but you must be a American Express cardholder to get it.It monitors all three bureaus with email alerts and you can get new reports every 24 hours.

Yep I suspect that is what I will end up with...all the bills, a child to raise and no child support but then he hasn't given me a dime in all the time we been married and he stole most of the money i had saved so what is to be expected...Anyway, I just get nervous with all these people having my personal information! Esp. because I heard that Bass hires convicts to do their collecting...

Yeah...I think the Damn Yankees did it back in the 80's. The BEST music was from the 80's. Well...there was some good stuff in the 60's and 70's. Can't diss the Bee Gees. On a different note, I think that when they have a trial for the scum from this company, we should all make a trip to Florida to be there in the courtroom to cheer when they sentence or fine them. I want them to see the faces of the people they've hurt and hear from each person about what problems they've caused. Here in Oregon we FINALLY got an interest rate cap on payday lenders. I think it's around 35% or something. They're all whining now saying they won't be able to afford paying their employees, etc. Well, if they can't afford their bills, they can follow their own advice and take out a payday loan to get through that short term lack of funds. See how they like THEM apples!
