Please I need help with some verification of law

I posted over on other board also...but, just occured to me that even though these are student loans.....all of them have been over to CA's...so here's the sit.
Well I have finally tracked down exactly who is holding my loans for collections. 1 has never even contacted me but that's besides the point. I am and have been declared 100% disabled for almost 7 yrs. now. Now I have contacted all 3 companies just today and requested that they mail me the forms that my Dr. needs to send out to them. I am dealing with NCO..collecting for DOE....TG(Texas Garunteed) a Stafford.....and the ever loving Pioneer who is collecting for Sallie Mae who represents themselves as collecting for The finance authority of Maine...btw....the original letter came from General Revenue. However, Pioneer now claims they are the officail collector. Now that I have spoken with them and they have agreed to send the paper work for my DR. Are they bound by law to do so? If not where do I go from here? Thnx in advance!

I don't yet know a lot about disabilities and how it relates to debt, but if they agreed to send the forms, I'd think they would be held to it. I would think about suing Pioneer, since they seem to be misrepresenting themselves.
