Just wanted to verify what the staute of limitations is in florida for credit cards. I have searched the forums and see both 4 yrs and 5 yrs stated. Which is as of 2007? Also, are there any sol sample letters to in regards to summons? Should it be combine with validation or what? (composing letters as we speak and going to mail them today)

credit card debts come within unsecured debts. SOL in FL is four years from the last payment date.

Is the summons already issued in your name? Send the dispute letter immediately before they try for a judgment through court. Remember, if they manage to get a judgment within the SOL period, you will be legally forced to pay them. SOL on Judgment usually stays for 10 years depending upon the state laws and are renewable.
