Well as some of you know I filed a complaint with the Florida AG against Allen Lewis & Assoc. and got money from a settlement from the AG office. It now appears that either allen lewis or mycashnow turned over my account, which by the way I owe no money which is why allen lewis could never get anything.

Anyways I got an alert from my credit monitoring informing me of some new activity. Lo and behold there is an entry from national credit adjusters that states that an account opened in 10/07 for mycashnow and that I owe over $2,200. I previously dealt with mycashnow way back in 2003, here in Maryland for an internet payday loan. I have paid them the principal and what interest is allowed in Maryland and refuse to pay an more than that. I called NCA and they said they turned it over to phoenix debt management. I called phoenix debt management but they refused to talk to me. I've already submitted my complaint to experian to dispute it. I will also have to complain now to the Arizona AG.

I also called mycashnow and they tried to say I still owed money. I told the lady that payday loans are illegal in the state of Maryland and she gave me their credit protection department, whatever that is, to call. I will have to call tomorrow as they are closed right now.

They may try and harass me but it will not work, when will they learn.

ram..as far as being harassed...I have been in constant hassel with a collection agency over a one hundred dollar loan for six months now. I don't think they ever give up! Sounds like you are doing all you can do..good luck getting this off your credit report. Keep us posted on what's happening...

Yeah, these companies are a piece of work. I got my disute im with the credit reporting agency, my complaint in to the Kansas AG and a complaint in with the FTC. I'm also waiting to hear back from the consumer credit attorney.

From what I have been reading NCA does this kind of thing all the time and puts bogus and fraudulent information on your credit report without any kind of notice.
