Is there any recourse for an incorrect date listed on a collection on my credit report? I paid a debt in Nov of 2006, but it say delinquent of April 2007 on my credit report. It does say that it's paid now, but it looks like I was delinquent 6 months later than I was. I called them and they said they could report it however they saw fit. I did an online dispute thru my credit monitoring service thru experian and it still came back as accurate. I have the check still and it cleared my bank 6 months prior to it being listed as delinquent. What now?

No, they damn well can't report it any way the please. They have to report what actually happened, the way it happened, or they're in violation of federal law. Period.

Call Experian. Explain to them what happened, that the debt was improperly reported, and that you have proof of all that. You may have to send them the proof, but they should set it right.

In your place, I might even be tempted to demand it be removed altogether. But I can be a vindictive old bastrich. Give it a few hours on here, and see what answers you get.

The Fair Credit Reporting Act controls how entities may report to consumer reporting agencies. If found in violation they may be taken to court via civil suit (typically small claims) for $1,000 per violation. I would suggest contacting an attorney. Additionally if the consumer credit reporting agencies which they reported to fail to adjust they may also be sued, consult an attorney before doing so.
