stop,and that includes garnishments and judgements.

Is that federal law paul or does that go by state as far as judgments? I can't go back to work for a long time and can't pay my bills, some are old charge offs so I think bankruptcy is my best option.

i think it only applies maybe to certain debts like student loans,tax debt.other than gray areas like those all collections,garnishments,and judgements are stopped.i don't think that can be interpreted state to state.someone will correct me if i am wrong,but i don't think i am.
