Some of these collectors are saying I opened accounts as early as last year or that my last payments were last year, these are incorrect as all of these are past 5 years. Reason for asking is that my attorney is adding the creditors to the matrix for the bankruptcy petition and I have to go over it with him. Will this cause a problem because the dates on my credit report are inaccurate?

The date you are referring to is the date that the CA first reported the tradeline to the CRA's. It has no bearing on the amount of time that it can remain on your credit report. The important date is the Date of First Default. That triggers the 7.5 year reporting period and should be the same date on the OC's and teh CA(JDB's) tradeline.

I'll tell ya..sometimes this 'SOL thing' can gt confusing. I know the state of PA..the SOL is 4 years. But.......can items stay on your CR for 7 years? Can you dispute them after the SOL is up?

You can try to dispute them but they will likely be verified. You might get lucky if the date furnisher does not respond to the dispute w/in the 30-45 day time frame.
