Does anyone know the address I can you for the dispute department at Bank of America?
I had a MBNA credit card that was charged off in 2002. I want proof of what they are reporting as my date of last activity because I think it is wrong on my credit report. I will be asking for billing statements and proof of payments recieved for the time they have on my credit report.

First...have you disputed the tradeline with the CRA's. Does BOA still own this debt? Are they still updating your credit report? Date of Last Activity is not really that important but can help you dispute inaccuracies. The important date to ensure proper reporting is the date of first default (DOFD). That is the date that triggers the 7.5 year reporting period.

No they do not own the debt, it was charged of in 2002. Last 30 day on credit credit report was in march of that year. I think it was actually sooner. I wrote the bureaus to get the first date of default.
