I gave a vehicle back-voluntary, my mistake, by listening to dealership, telling me to just give it back, you owe too much, and put me in a new one!
This was in 2006, now I have a closed account, and a charged off account showing, and I think they are trying to serve me for a judgement.
If the account is showing closed or charged off can they still place a judgement on me? I seen that as of four years in Texas, which I am, that it will be dismissed for statue of Limitations. Would that mean that it has been fours years if my credit says this? I am not sure of dates.
I owed around $10,000 and the interest has made it around $18,000.
Can anyone help me?

They are trying to get you for a deficiency balance. So that wold be 4 years from the time the deficiency occured...so you would only be 3 years. Somebody help me if i am wrong?
