i received it from A.C.A Recovery in regards to Paycheck Today. I took out a loan for $400 months ago and have paid over $600 on it.

I sent them a letter to mark my account Paid in Full weeks ago and never heard back from them until today.

They say I owe them $480.

I sent an email to the Attorney Generals office in New Jersey, they responded back and asked me to fill out a complete form with said parties involved. I also am dealing with Paycheck Today and ACA Recovery. I read some court documents on ACA Recovery and they were sued by PA and NJ attorney's a few years back for violating FDCPA-representing they were an attorney's office-Norman Kolina. The only difference I found with ACA was they changed addresses from that point. They are something else, they state I owe PayCheck Today $805, but in fact they owe me. I want them to take me to court-but in fact they have no leg to stand on in NJ as they are collecting an illegal debt and they are again violating the fdcpa. They are calling stating they are from the Law Offices of Norman Kolina and in fact they are a debt collection agency called ACA Recovery. I challenged Mrs. Garcia on the phone and have not heard back from them for a few weeks now. Let me know what happens with your situation.

I sent them a certified debt validation letter this morning with a return receipt. So far they havent called me. It says its from a Mr. Cutler.

I paid them over $600 on a $400 loan and they state I owe them $480. I bet they do nothing after they receive the letter. They cant prove that I owe $480. They actually owe me. I want to contact the AG of NJ. Do you have the contact info?
