Has anyone heard of a "process server" called ADR. THe number is 877-316-8290. This person keeps calling and leaving threatenting messages about a complaint against me, how he has the authority to give me one last chance to take care of it before serving my file, gives me a case number, etc. It all sounds very scary, but in my head I know it's a bunch of BS. But, I can't find anything on this ADR and the number search doesn't really turn much up. Any clues out there?

I would be very firm with them. Be angry! That is a blatant lie...it is illegal for them to say they are trying to serve you papers...they are NOT a process server and real process servers DO NOT collect debts. Check this 'case number' with your court and see if anything has been filed. If it hasn't, they have violated your rights further by saying there has. Has it is looking right now, they may owe YOU more money then you allegedly owe them! take them to court for these blatant violations.
