Has anyone heard of Affiliated Credit Services? I am just curious to know who they represent. They called an my unlisted number and left a message and I don't know how they got it.

i'm getting the same phone calls for some one i've never heard of. our phone numbers could be random or used fraudulently. if they don't stop calling i'm report them to the bbb whether they are a legitimate collection service or not.

Affiliated credit services is working out of fort morgan colorado so if you live in colorado and you recently had a doctors visit at a hospital or been in and havent paid for your services, these are most likely the people that are trying to get a hold of you, if your situation is relative to mine, i have never been to a hospital in colorado and i looked it up on my credit report (VIA USAA.COM--$5.95) You must have an account with them. Anyways i looked it up on my credit report and disputed it because it lowered my credit score 100 points because of a measly 25 bucks that i have never heard of. Just thought i would add my $.02

Yes, I am dealihg with their B.S. as well. Mine is pretty much the same story. I went as far as contacting the Bank they said I bounced this check with. They have NO information on me what's so ever! Today the caller went as far as yelling at me, thinking maybe that would make me cower and pay some nonsense bill. I yelled back, told him if he called me one more time they would be hearing from my attorney. Oh yes, and they will. I am not sure how they are getting our informaiton, but this is ridiculous! This is also on my credit report. Here is what I don't understand. They could not provide me with my social security number. They have however reported it to my credit report. How can they do that without a SSN number. It also was not on their last year, but has showed up on this years. They have yet to provide me with any documentation on the supposed check what so ever. I have asked for it many times, their repsonse is that I need to send in a written request. I don't think so.
Even better, it started off as a $75 bad check, that my husband supposedly paid $50 on, and they wanted $25. Now that price has gone down, it's $20. Another comical side to this, the place where this check was bounced at is in a very little conveinent store not far from where I live. Go in there all the time. Know the employees and managers, you bounce a check there, they write it down, and then cash only. Still writing checks there. They don't even have a clue what is going on here. This is obviously a scam, and I am so sorry for all who are involved. I also inted on disputing this. Anyone who is being contacted by this company needs to ask for as many details on the bad debt. For instance like I had done, I asked for the company, the routing number on the check, and the account number. He gave me that information and I immediatley contacted the company. Right there is a good start to prove these are nothing more than scams!

i would not recommend you giving your credit card # to them they use it to pay your bill but after some workers keep the credit card # for later use who knows

2 3 Month s after you pay your bill your credit card could reflect
Unknow charges made by these collector
trust me 50% of these charges go to adult sex talks by phoneand 50% to internet related charges

This company is a SCAM and so is Stone River Pharmacy Solutions. So some reason they are collecting a debt that I had for Workers Compensation medication that I acquired in 2008. This information is untrue, nor does it make any sense. These companies have a lawsuit on their hands...P.S. I dont even live in colorado, and I have never lived there before. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAMMERS LOOKING FOR SOME IDIOT TO GIVE THEM YOUR CARD NUMBERS- THEY WANT YOU TO PAY ONLINE OR ON THE PHONE AND THEY LEAVE NO OPTION FOR SENDING MONEY ORDERS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT ***SERIOUSLY DO NOT TRUST***

This is a highly reputable company and if you did your research you would know that they are not based out of colorado, nicaragua, or anywhere like that. The representatives are knowledgeable and friendly - if they are calling = you have a debt. Regardless of whether or not you are aware of it, it is something that needs to be taken care of - because until you take care of it, its out there in your name. Mistakes happen, but these people are just doing their job. If the debt is in your name, it is your responsibility to get it resolved.

Call this number, but block your number. Call and call and call; harass them like they harass everyone else. Talk crazy to them, just like they talk crazy to everyone else. It???s a direct line to Cash Advance or whatever. Clog up their lines and voice mail.

You are right that they a real company, but there are laws when it comes to collecting. If they call several times after you have told them to stop calling you place of employment or your personal number, it's not collecting - its harassment. If they have been giving a verbal notice not to call, they are suppose to inform you that you must send a letter with the request. They are suppose to give you the address to send your letter. This BS company is not doing that. They are breaking the laws. My suggesting to those that are been harassed is to contact an attorney. The attorney can file a lawsuit against the company on your behalf or as a class action lawsuit. In the meantime, call the following numbers and harass them like they are doing to you. Call their place of employment over and over and over. Don't tell them your name or give them your number. Just call over and over and over.

Call this number, but block your number. Call and call and call; harass them like they harass everyone else. Talk crazy to them, just like they talk crazy to everyone else. It???s a direct line to Cash Advance or whatever. Clog up their lines and voice mail.

If they're reputable, why do they continue to contact me about a paid debt, after the creditor informed them twice now that the debt was paid?

I get the impression they don't think they'll ever have to deal with one of their victims face to face. if they contact me again, they're going to find out that Rochester isn't all that far to drive to wipe the smirk off a punks face.
