Hi,
Collection agency sued me March 2, 2010 for credit card debt.
However a settlement offer was made prior to filing the suit stating that offer was valid til March 26, 2010. Seems they did not have the legal right to sue at that time.
What affirmative defenses might I use in my Answer in a situation like this?
