Emergency credit cards – Do they actually help to build credit?

I don't have any credit card at present. However, my sister is telling me to get an emergency credit card. What is it actually? I have never heard about it? Will it help me to build credit? Please help. Also, a credit repair company from Rainbow City has offered to help me build credit. Should I accept the offer?

nobody can erase legal negatives from your report,and if there is real erroneous info you can have it removed yourself by disputing those yourself.do not go with this place.now emergency credit cards are small balance cards like 300.00 to 500.00 limits.most are secured and are used as your sister said in emergencies only.yes pay on time and it will build your credit.however as i said to open my post nobody can remove legal negatives from your CR.anybody who says so is a scam.
