My wife started getting calls from this Company about three weeks ago but won't tell me what the debt is that I suppose to owe or who it was from originally. The caller tells me that this call is being recorded and when asked by me who it is that this debt was from again he said we bought it from a CC and you have to pay us. I told him send me documentation supporting this debt and he refused. He said we can settle this today or sue you. Then he began calling me names and I said sir, shut your trap and stop being ugly. At that point he got more abusive and I hung up on him, he still calls once a day.

They are so untrained and disorganized that they will not respond to a validation letter. They are discribed in another site as "a class action Lawsuit waiting to happen". Send the letter incuding a cease and desist and you will never hear from them again. The go for the easy commission. It is the end of the month and they are getting more aggressive because they have to make a quota. Do you know which office it is? If not tell him you want to mail a payment and then send the letters.
