I keep getting calls from Allied Interstate and they keep asking for my social security number and when I say I'm not giving out that info they just hang up on my and will not give me any information on what the debt is about. They have also been calling my husband on his cell phone. How can I find out what they are calling for without giving them my SS.

A lot of the accounts that Allied handles can only be verified thru SS#...this is a requirement of any of the governmental accounts they handle. They will not give any info without SS# verification...offer the last 4 numbers.
