Allstate Collection

I recieved a phone call last night from an All State Collection company. It was on a check that has been outstanding since the end of September, I thought I had set up payment with the orginal company for the 20th of this month, "they would mark my account", but then I get hi phone call last night from a restricted number they are collecting on this check. They would only take a promise from a checking account, funny since my check was bad in the first place. I have been dealing with payday loans so this and credit cards got put on the back burner, much to my stupidity, so now I am fighting this.

"Jason" assured me he had only until 2:00 today pacific time to get this settled otherwise they were turning it over to the courts and there would be criminal action, possibly probation or jail time, but since it was under $350.00 there probably would not be jail time. My mom allowed me to post it to her checking account, and I will repay her the cash after my payday. I am trying to catch up I am trying to get a part time job but with todays job market that has been tough too! I just want this check paid and done! One less thing to worry about! Dang payday loan nightmare mixed with the world of depression-not good!
