Yet another amusing call from a hapless CA

Well i got another call just a little while ago from NCO, this time for my husband. I informed the guy that my hubby was not available, but being his wife, I could help him. He chose not to take my help and said he would try again. I told him he won't be able to get ahold of my hubby due to his work schedule and then the CA informed me he will call my hubby at work. So....I tell him he won't be able to get through as the company doesn't put calls through, even I, his wife can't speak to him at work.

By now the CA was getting frustrated and just refused to discuss this with me and finally said in a nasty voice that he will get through, because he will just keep calling until they put him through, then in a smug voice he says and I quote, "I have his employment information right here, TDCJ. I just hope they don't fire him over this."

I couldn't help it...at that point I just laughed. I then told him this:

"Well, if you really want to harass my husband's company, you go ahead and do that....but the Texas Department of Criminal Justice takes a dim view on getting harassing phone calls I would think. But hey...at least you will be able to talk to my husband as he makes his rounds by your cell....I did mention my husband works for the state as a correctional officer, didn't I?"

He just hung up....didn't say a word. :twisted: :twisted:
