I have a question...I was receiving calls from Accounts Receivable Management of FL. I sent them a validation letter and they sent back a bill for $456 with a copy of my contract from NLS Cash Advance.net. My question was can a collection agency who is not licensed to collect in my state do anything to collect on an illegal payday loan? I am going to pay the $350 back, however it will be when I can afford it.
Thank you very much, thats what I was hoping to hear

I checked with the state of CT & also checked the list of licensed collectors on the CT website, there is an ARM for CO, KY & NJ, but ARM of FL is not licensed to collect in CT. LVNV is also not licensed to collect in CT either. I looked into this when I started getting the phone calls...
