Hi,

I have a question...I was receiving calls from Accounts Receivable Management of FL. I sent them a validation letter and they sent back a bill for $456 with a copy of my contract from NLS Cash Advance.net. I live in CT and know that payday loans are illegal, can they do anything to collect on this debt. I have sent an email to the CT attorney general's office and am waiting from a response from them. I am going to pay back what I legally owe, but on my terms not theirs.

first can you recall how much was borrowed and how much
was paid back total?

you borrowed 350.00 you pay 350.00.most pdls don't take
prior loans into consideration.

I am aware that I owe the $350...technically ARM did "validate" the debt, if you can call it that. They sent me a bill with a copy of my loan agreement. My question was can a collection agency who is not licensed to collect in my state do anything to collect on an illegal payday loan? I am going to pay the $350 back, however it will be when I can afford it.

oh yeah, that is what i meant.they can't try to railroad, strongarm or threaten you.you pay that when you can.
not when they tell you to.also they can't try to tack on fees
or nsf's as CA's are famous for.
