Arrow Financial - Arrangements - Possible settlement?
Date: Mon, 03/09/2009 - 09:45
I called Arrow and agreed to $100 a month but they won't dismiss the case, so I called them again this morning to inquire about a possible settlement, I offered them $2400 (the orginal amount they want is $3700 on an old cc that only had a $2400 limit in which I only owed the $2200 at the time I fell behind)
The rep I spoke with said he'd get back to me..... I figure at $100 a month would take 37 months to pay off, does anyone know if they might bite for the $2400 lump sum to settle this?
Has anyone ever delt with these people?
If I still have to goto court, what should I expect? It is with a local Magistrait here in Pennsylvania.
Any replies welcome. thanks
When was the last time you made a payment on the account? PA do
When was the last time you made a payment on the account? PA does not allow for wage garnishment but not sure about whether or not they can place a lein on your home.
Arrow
the last payment I made I believe was about 3 years ago and I read the SOL here in PA is 4 years so I'm SOL (s@#t out of luck) on that.
I'm scared, I've never heard of anyone being sued for a cc. This is a first for me, from what I read about PA laws I can't make heads or tails out of what they can do or can't do.
Can they freeze my checking account? Can they really do a sherif sale? I have 3 beagles, can they sell my dogs?
