I got my membership at Bally's but I never once used the facilities because I was waiting for my membership card which was never given to me. I attempted contacting the manager and they never called me back.
Now I am being contacted by Asset Acceptance saying that I owe money due to this account.
What does one do in a situation like this?

But that being said, I would suggest that you properly send the debt validation letter to Asset Acceptance to confirm the details about the debt. If they successfully validate the debt, you may then try to work out a settlement with them.
