I asked this question a few weeks ago and was asked what state I live in amd name of PDL's.

I have a few pay day loans and wasn't able to pay back at the time. Recently I was awarded some some money and I'm trying to pay off my debts. I have no problem paying what's owed to the Pay day loans companies, but many has passed them on to these back alley collection companies which is asking 3 times the ammount owed. How can I just pay what was borrowed on the PDL and get away friom these crooks?

I live in Alabama and name of pdl's are: paycheck today, little loan shop, nls cash advance, 55 fast cash, and city view cash.

Payday lending is legal in Alabama. You can contact with the Alabama Banking Department to know whether or not payday loan companies from where you have taken the loan are licensed to operate in your state. If they are licensed, then you will have to pay the principal amount with interests and other charges. Otherwise, you are required to pay only the principal amount.
