If the debt and judgment is in your wife's name only, then the creditor or collection agency (whoever has won the judgment) won't be able to touch your account if her name is removed from the account. However, there's an exception. If your's a community property state you can also be held liable for your wife's debt, and thus the creditor or collection agnecy may be able to put a hold on your account even if your wife's name is removed from it.
