my husband has a hospital bill from 2002 Past employer should have paid ( he had Ins. through them) We called the old employer about the problem- we went back and forth with this . In the meantime we moved and I guess we thought that this was over.
Today when my husband tried to use our debit card it was declined. he went to the bank and he we told that the account was on hold and to call a number I called the # said that we were never served papers for this and she said that this court date was Oct, 2003- Can this all be done? Can we just close the account? what can we do
