please help! our bank account was garnished and I need any or all info I can get about it. Is our next paycheck next friday going to be taken as well? I did not or have not received notice of any notice to garnish, thus I do not know who the creditor is. I called the bank, but it was after hours, so I have to wait until Monday to get the court papers. But for now, any info would be appreciated!

I work for the government and it is a requirement to have direct deposit. I have located the source of the garnishment and it is an old unemployment overpayment debt I was unaware of. Does anyone know if after they start a garnishment if the Labor and Unemployment will now accept a payment plan? Also, has anyone had a bank account garnishment AND a wage garnishment at the same time? I want to know if I can expect a wage garnishment as well, but am too nervous to ask our payroll department. Thanks for any suggestions or info!!
