To anyone who can help:
I received a summons to appear in civil court here in Queens County NY from A. A LLC Here in NYC the SOL is six years for a consumer credit transaction and for a store credit card its 4 years. My credit is already pretty wrecked so I'm really not all that concerned about that. I am concerned about this company being able to make any liens against my bank account and garnishing my wages. I have to prepare a response to submit to the clerk of the court in the next few days. Any help that anyone can give in assisting when be greatly appreciated.

As far as I can understand, if they get a judgment against you f
As far as I can understand, if they get a judgment against you from the court, then they will be able to garnish your wages or your bank account. As far as the summons is concerned, I will suggest you to contact an attorney and he will help you in drafting a reply to that summons. If you don't give a reply to the summons, they will get a default judgment against you.
