Benjamin, Michael & Associates

Hello
I recently received a letter from Benjamin, Michael, & Associates. The letter stated that I owed them $663.00 on a $300 PDL. Has anyone ever dealt with these people? I know the PDL is legimate, but as you can see the amount has more than doubled.
Any advice?

InDebtForever,
Welcome to the forums :-) Since you have received a letter from a collection agency, you have thirty days to respond. They have to validate the debt and proove the amount owed. You can get a sample letter of a debt validation letter in the Do it yourself section of the forum. Just look under our services and you will find it there. I would recommend sending the letter certified mail with return receipt requested. This way you will have proof that they received it. Also, who was the payday loan with?
