Judgement, payment arrangements
Date: Sat, 07/05/2008 - 08:25
Hello
I am in Illinois and have a couple of questions. I had a car that was repossessed, and right before the SOL expired, I was served with papers that I was being sued by Blitt & Gaines. I called them before court to try to settle out of court, but could not come up with the lump payment they needed, and they wouldn't accept payments. So I go to court, and afterwards I meet with the lawyer and we set arrangements up for ACH monthly payments. Paid on time for a year and 1/2. Well, I have had some financial difficulties, and now my payment is 2 months behind. What happens now? I will send them payment this week, but am not sure they will accept it. Will they just go to garnish my wages?
Thank you for any help
