Help? I have a court date in 2days (jury trial) thought I had a lawyer who worked out a good deal for me, but could not come up with all the money in the 2 days they gave me. My lawyer was not able to practice in my county. I live in Illinois. He filed the federal suit against them, but now I am left with no representation on the state level. Can I extend the court date due to me not having a lawyer anymore? Should I try to work out a deal with these crooks? Just some guidance, or what I should expect at my court date would help. Thanks in advance.
