As far as LVNV is concerned, you had already sent them a DV letter. You don't need to send them another DV letter. Rather you can send them a cease and desist letter and ask them to stop harassing you. As far as Brachfeld is concerned, I will suggest you to wait for the dunning letter. As they are unable to provide you with the validation of debt, you can ask them to remove the CRA entry. You can even send a letter to the credit bureau and request them to remove the negative entry as the CA was unable to validate the debt. This may help you in removing the entry from the credit report. As Brachfeld is not licensed to collect in your state, you can have a word with your attorney and check out what actions you need to take.
