If it is a collection agency, the law states that they are to send you written info about them and your account 5 business days after first contact. If they have not done this yet contact your state and file a complaint against them. Also let them know that you know this is a law and they are to not contact you any further until you receive the letter. Then when they do send them a validation letter through cert. mail with return reciept requested.

Byond Global is purchasing archived debts andk pursueing them for collection - one I know of personally is over 18 years old. This is illegal and is ruining the credit rating of many innocent people.

has anyone else had shadey dealings from these freaks who want money, but are not willing to forward you the paper work to state that the debt that they are screaming at you for money for is true??? ai just looked at their web page.. it states professionalism. Am I the only one to dispute that???

i have had dealings with this company they are legit, i spoke to a manager instead of one of the many custome service people, they sent me both over due account documents and after they were paid they sent a confimation and cleared it of my credit rating.

I have recently paid out a debt with these people after they continued hassling me. Now I have paid the debt I can't seem to get in contact with them to get confirmation that my debt is now cleared!!! Where did the money go????

Im in Sydney Australia and they are not even a registered company here. The only written communication I have had was a very unofficial email listing the repayments I had made. Transpac are terrible to deal with they ring at any hour, they have scared the daylights out of my kids by telling them that their dads in trouble and the one to one verbal communication is pathetic. Its like teaching kindergarten kids the alphabet. I'm now in the process of getting some legal advice to see how they can be dealt with and to protect myself.

I am dealing with this company too and they keep harrassing me with some special deal to wipe my debt faster. I am making regular payments on time but they keep calling me and telling me they will take $1000 off here and there if I take their deal and pay the full amount within the month. I have not received any letters or statments of my payments to them and every person that calls me sound like an indian who I can barely understand. I have just received another harassing call from them afew minutes ago with another deal to pay them faster which lead me to check up on them to see if the company was legit as I have nothing from them except multiple phone calls and one email stating my reference number. I am going to follow puddlejmpr advice and refuse to talk unless they send me a statement the old fashion way (in the post).

Not long after I posted a message on here they called again. This time I was so annoyed I just harrassed some indian accent guy who said he was the manager by the name of Tony to send me statements or don.t bother calling ever because I have become weary on weather to continue paying them out due to the nature that they all sound dodgy. I threatened that I will stop all payments and throw out my cell if they keep harrassing me when I am not in breach of any wrong doings because I am making regular payments on time. (Rule number one....I don't have a home number) This Tony guy reacted and emailed me an official looking document with my payments and hasn't called again yet.

At one point i was employed with beyond global. Its a legit collection company but has a jerk employer therefore i will reveal a secret for all of you to save money. If you intend to pay your debt, ask them to settle it in 50% to 60% and ask them to confirm the same in writing that once promised amount is paid, it will be cleared from credit as paid settled in full. Once you get the letter, pay and get rid of your debt in all time low settlement. I assure you guys that if you be persistant at one point they will settle. I hope i will be able to help you guys some money.

I am dealing with these guys too and they seem to hassle me everyday ringing me at work getting me into trouble there but no front person to talk too just some stupid indian. these people need something official. i asked for all my comunication to be in e mail format so i could have a paper trail but still they ring and no e mail .

File a complaint with the FTC and the FCC and your State Attorney General's office.

they are a scam in india!!! do not be fooled! do not give them any info about you or someone they are asking about!! and do not be silly enough to deposit any money into there account!!! and no they dont have an office in brisbane!! try calling its disconnected!!! its all done in india and its a scam!!!!!!!

I have had dealings with the company since 5 years now; I had a debt from GE bought by Transpacific/ Byond Global with an out standing balance of $22,570. I played smart wit them by making them beg for the Moolah all these years as they kept on calling me day in and out offering me many payment offers , huge discounts???????????????. I kept them guessing as I have been changing my phone and address but these guys must say are good at tracing and chasing us ?????????????????????. But the best thing with them is that they don???t charge any interest on the money owning unlike other collection house and banks which has been charging heavy interest rates and penalty charges ??????.. I just cant imagine paying interest on an debt which I had incurred 10 years back?????????????????????.. finally last week I had a last laugh on this when I managed to fool them by negotiating a best deal by producing them some bullshit hardship letter which they requested for before offering me a settlement to pay just a peanuts????????????.. any guesses of how much my deal was mates ???????????????????????????.. haaaaaa just for $ 11,000???????????????????????? I am free from my debts and that makes me laugh and laugh and laugh.

Depending on the state you live in, you may have just re-aged the debt by claiming responsibility for it and it quite possibly may be to your undoing.

I have recently been hassled by these people as well. They are obviously a fraud and are completely inconsiderate calling at 12 pm. One went by the name of bridget jones - coincidence? i dont think so. It took over 20 minutes plus conversations betwwen bridget jones and "mike jones" to be able to get a simple address. This is definetly not legit. Just persistently ask about what their company does, internet info, information packages etc. They eventually give up :D hope this helps

I have been contacted by Transpacific and told of a debt that i had a debt for outstanding loan from GE. Previous to this i had received an letter from GE stating that my loan was completed and i owned my vehicle but now all of a sudden i get a nasty phone call from some manager at Transpacific. I spoke to this manager and agreed to pay their deal and that i would like to have the deal in writing so i had a hard copy of his verbal deal. That was nearly a month a go and i have received nothing from them after numerous requests. Then i received another phone call last week telling me that the amount was now more and that they had changed all the agreement again, so i told them they were not going to get a cent more out of me til they send through the letter in writing so i had a clear and legitimate document to follow for my records. Since then i have not received anything from them at all, they will not send me anything in writing and i would like to get this matter sorted out, if i do legitamately owe money i would like to get it paid off but they will not return any of my emails. How do i get this sorted as i have already paid nearly all of the first agreement before they came up with the second figure. I really want to get this fixed so i can sell my vehicle that i thought i already owned but they have put a financial hold on this vehicle so i cant do a thing til i get this letter short of selling it for scrap or parts

My son does have a debt with an Australian company and how these Indians got details of it and my phone number is unbelievable. Yesterday I got caught out when they called and pretended to be shopping around for the government grant for free insulation in the roof. I stupidly enough gave them my address, which then they were able to track my email address which I would not give to them in the past. I have repeatedly requested a mailed letter detailing everything, which they will not do (why, I do not know). Anyway, I am going to complain (somewhere) about the fraud of them pretending somebody was coming out to assess my ceiling for insulation. They were supposed to be here this morning at 8.30am, but of course they never showed, but I did receive the email from them yesterday. (Coincidence). I have replied to the email telling them never to call on my landline again and if they do, I will instantly hang up and the only thing they haven't got is my mobile number.
