how can i get contact info

Did you try contacting the original creditor? They might be able to tell you who it was sold to and how to contact them.

Do you have the name of the collection agency? You could also do a search of the collection agency's name (search box is in the upper right hand corner)-perhaps someone has info on them.

Also there is a forum here for creditors & collectors...look in there because you might find some contact info.

Are they reporting on you credit reports? There should be contact information there as well though it is not already accurate. Also, you might try www.budhibbs.com
