I know CAs are supposed to send a dunning letter within 5 days of contact. Does that mean that I have to physically speak to them, or is it 5 days from when a voicemail was left?
Also, if the message left doesn't identify the company, just says the person at this number has business with us, don't they have to state their name, company, and phone number to call back?

An initial communication with the consumer triggers the dunning notice requirement. In my opinion, a call that did not identify the party or the purpose of the call would not be an initial communication of substance, and thus would not trigger the requirement of a collection notice.
