Got a call from CA bout a unpaid balance..?

And i can confirm they still have my phone number and address so they had no excuses to not get in touch with me to let me know bout my balance.
I was wondering if their is any law against this so i can back my selfup. (just to clarify i have no problem paying what i owe but i do not want to pay the CA fee when i wasn't even aware of the unpaid balance.

No i didn't trash the place. Also looks like you don't read to well..as i stated i would pay the money that i owed them, but just not the collection agency fee when i did not get notified of any balance when i left or when they sent out my security deposit letter.

Definately DV. You can take it further as well, you demand to see invoices for any supposed work done and whatnot. Did they refund your security deposit when you left?
