Need some background on an alleged collection agency that uses this number as a contact number, usually the person calling indientifies themselves as Eric Matthews or Andy Brown and sounds one in the same ... any information that can be forwarded would be appreciated or can be forwarded to email address removed per TOS rules and for your protection, by Shazzers. i am an investigator in Illinois seeking information on scam activities regarding persons at this number . thanks for your time.


I got a call from the Eric Mathews, it sounded like a recording ad he sound=
ed foreign. Not sure why I recieved this call....It was kind of threatening=
.... I filed bankruptcy but it was discharged last month, this is the first=
collection type call that I have recieved in 2 months.=A0 One that would c=
all names and threaten me was ameriloan, and they called even after they we=
re told not to by my attorney, it took a threat of filing suit from my atty=
to make them stop... I wonder if it could be associated with them....

beavis,if you did file bankruptcy and all debts were discharged
give the#to your BK lawyer.they are not allowed to attempt to
contact or collect any longer.

I got a call from eric matthews he also sounded foreign. He said i had 3 legal counts against me and that i was due in court on monday but if i paid him i wouldnt need to be in court.

He wanted me to fax his company a letter apoligizing and stating that i would pay them back. The number was 949-612-0853. He called a few more times and i told him i knew it was a scam and he said he would see me in court monday, i never recieved anything stating i was suppose to go to court. When i told him i had contacted the police he hung up on me.

The comany he said he was calling from was Legal Affidavit offices located in California.

It is a scam...there are many posts regarding this company...don't pay them a dime and ignore their telephone calls - they are not even located in the US...
