If i Have sent out offer letters to various collection agencies and have not heard anything back, what should I do? DO they have to reply to me, even if it is to refuse? I am trying to get things taken care of and just wanting to get it done.

Any and all input and advice would be greatly appreciated...

You are right Solaplady. There is no time period within which the creditor has to validate the debt and I have checked it out with FDCPA. I found the information from creditinfocenter which I think is wrong. I am thankful to the moderators for pointing me out my mistakes. I am learning a lot from this forum now-a-days.
Thanks a lot :)

I am a little confused. I dont think this addressed my original question so I am still wondering what I am suppose to do after I have sent out letters of offers but have notheard anything.

Should I send out new offers with a higher amount?
