I work in a job that I go to our local courthouse often, I live in Texas and work in a county that is kinda small, we are about 2 hours away from DFW. Anyway, I looked up court cases on CACH vs. whoever and CACV vs. whoever. I found it interesting, that most cases that the defendent filed an answer to are just sitting there or have been dismissed, the cases where no answer was filed by the defendent was when CACH or CACV got there judgement. It may have to do with this county being so out of the way of the metroplex and they don't want to make the trip here, because the "attorney's" that represent these companies are all in the DFW area or Houston, I'm not saying that they don't at all, but it appears to be that if you file and answer, they don't do anything else with it, because it would mean that they would have to show up and the ones that don't file an answer, they just motion for default judgement and win and is probably done by mail. I'm going to look into it a little more. I'm dealing with CACH right now, thats why I looked those up, so if they do sue me, I can be somewhat prepared. Just found it interest and thought I would share.
