About a year or so ago, my neighbor who saw me outside, came to me and told me that some guy went over to his house and asked him if i still lived here and told him he was with my mortage co and then proceded to ask him if my house was going thru foreclosure. Now if it were truly my mortage co wudn't they know if my house was being foreclosed on? At the time it seemed weird to me cuz we have NEVER been late on a house payment but i blew it off cuz i wasn't worried about that. Then all of a sudden i thought about this last night.... do u think this could have been CACH looking for me?!?
Weird.
Thanks for any help,
ANg

It's something that happened a year ago and since you are still having issues with CACH, I will suggest you to be careful of them. A collection company is allowed to contact the third parties only if they can't locate you physically. They will contact someone you know for a phone number or your place of employment. If it was really CACH, they were doing something illegal by giving a fake identity.

Well i think what the deal is, my hubby and i were separated when all this went down, a year earlier, and neither of us were living at the home at that time but he Was checking the mail and maintaining the house. But we had been back together living here for many months when all this happened with the neighbor. But wow, u think they hire people to do such things as these? No wonder they've added on SO many charges!
YIKES!
