This # just called my cell demanding to talk to a man by the name of James ------. Of course, I told him he must have the wrong # b/c I don't know of anyone by that name. This man that called had the nerve to insist that I get him on the phone  Long story short, the conversation got heated when he kept yelling at me and said, "well you better tell your son that he needs an attorney." Obviously, this man had the wrong # b/c I don't know of anyone by that name, but it sounds like a threat that Bass & Associates would use. Anyone know who this # belongs to?

The call could have been from Bass Brownsugar. It might show up as a MD number but I think numbers can be re-routed. I know when my sons' school calls it will ring up from a city in Canada. And I think I've read before where a man with the name Church has contacted people with threats, and he was with Bass.

Polly - you're not the only one who ignores unknown calls. I have caller ID, and am glad to pay the extra for it every month so I can screen my calls. I don't get a lot of calls, but it's nice to be able to screen those "unknown name, unknown number" calls, since they are generally from telemarketers that have slipped through the "do not call list" anyway.

My kids even know not to pick up the phone if it's not a known number! :D
