overwhelming calls

Hi jtownbit welcome to the forums.

These overwhelming calls are coming from Collection agency correct? Have you tried talking to them that you currently dont have a job? Fax or email them to stop calling?

I am assuming, they are not good at identifing themselves, just first name of caller. I haven't tried anything, because I am not sure of who they are. In 2007 when I had a job, an agency in chicago boomsquaggled 564 dollars out of me, calling themselves special investigators for a debt that my exhusband had in 1997. We had been divorced since 2000. They threaten to file a claim in county court and serve me at my house and workplace, to the tune of thousands of more dollars. Other than that, my truck payment, Sovereign Bank does not work with me, past defering a one time payment, and they call me and identify themselves as their collections dept.. That 5 year loan has less than 20 months to pay, till Aug of 2010.
