Has anyone heard of JA Cambece Law Office in Massachusetts, P.C. ther are representing CACH. My son is in route to Iraq and I was given power of attorney. when I called them get a better understanding of what was going on and what could be done I was told payment in full was expected. The first peson I talked to was very nice and was trying to help someway but she had to turn it over to her supervisor who did not want to hear anything all she kept saying was 1778 dollars was due and was I going to send it in because I had power of attorney.
I finally got upset enough that I told her this conservation was over. Has anyone dewalt with this law firm ?

They are not licensed to collect debt in Massachusetts. He is registered with the Board of Bar overseers and the MA corporations division though.
From what I have seen so far, they had a class action suit filed on them for violations of the fdcpa plus other suits. They are not very nice to deal with from what I understand.
I don't know much about the type of debt but if you can tell us what state your son is from and the last time he paid on it, that would help.
