Same here, but they are debt collector, they lie when they say they are going to take you to court, pull up the Federal Trade commission Facts for Consumers and read them the section that says:

Tell them to stop calling and to not call at place of employment, also you can mail them a certified letter with a receipt confirmation, very cheap to stop harrassment.

Hello, I received a call from this company today. How do you know that you will really not be taken to court? I tried to make an offer but they refused and gave me only 5 days to come up with 1/3 of the debt. Thank you.

This is incorrect information. I live at this house and am receiving certified letters left and right from people I've never heard of.
Two years ago, I had a company with a similar name, Capital Restoration and Recovery. That company is not in business and was a home restoration company.

So send me all the cease and desist letters you want, but you've got the wrong guy. The company you think you've found is no longer in business, and was never a collection agency anyway.

I just recently dealt with these people. The number has changed but their premise is the same. They said they were Capital Litigation Services. Did you know it's illegal for them to make those kinds of threats to you on the phone? Contact your state's Attorney General and file a formal complaint.

I received a call from locator services asking for my brother. The women who call became rude and literally harrassed me, when I questioned her facts for the charges she was accusing my brother of. I also asked to give me the name of the so called attorney's office, which she refused and gave a phone number 877-663-7983. I called the number, and this women answered the phone. I explained to her about the call I had just received, she said she needed to look up the file. I asked her what company she represented and where were they located. She said the company was Capital Litigation Group and she was at a branch in North Carolina. I asked where her main office was and she told me it was in Washington D.C.. She gave me an address P.O. box 49834 Chandler, Arizona 85286 to write any concerns. When I questioned her about the company having their main office in Dubai ( Arab Emirates), and that she is giving me all this phony info., she lost it. She accused me of slander, and said I would get sue if I call back. I told her I would sue her for calling me at my private number and harrassing me or my family. PLEASE REPORT THESE SCAMMERS AND DON'T BE AFRAID OF THEM!

They only leave a number but no company name,no contact person.. and threats over the phone..WTF!?!

Someone, apparently from this company, called my cell phone & my work # saying she was from our local's sheriff's office and that they had a warrant for my arrest and the only way to stop it was to call Capital Litigations at 877-716-8917. Because I've had a bought of bad luck recently, I called immediately and was told that I owed over $1100 and that I was being arrested for 3 counts of "financial fraud." Apparently, these people work in colusion with a company that I got a payday loand from over a year ago. She sounded convincing enough that I went and bought a prepaid Visa on the pretext of giving her that number to put the warrant "on hold" for 7 days until I could come up with the $400 that they were willing to settle for.
Fortunately, I took the time to do an online search before I made any "arrangements" with them and I called my local sheriff's office to verify that they had made no such call. I contacted an attorney friend and will be giving them HER number, should they call back. I have also filed with my state's Attorney General and the BBB.
Hope somebody is able to stop these people!

I got a very harrassing call from an Edward Taylor claiming to be from the local court and he had a warrant for my arrest. They are connected to these payday loan co. He showed up at where I work and called the company I work for. So I am filing suit against them they violated so many of my rights and the laws it isnt funny.

He called me a 2nd time and I had finally had it with this guys I told him to come to my house if he had the balls to but he never showed up.

A year ago I fell on hard times and made the mistake of trying to get a online payday loan. Now I am getting a threatening call from this company stating they will take me to court if I don't pay. I said the only way you are going to get money from me is if you send me proof of who you are. the so called John refused and stated the only way to avoid arrest and court was to pay the settlement via Bank Information only ic.. debt card number,account info to set post dates to withdraw payment arrangements out of my account I refused to make the same mistake twice so I said I will see you in court. DON"T TRUST THEM THEY ARE A DEBT COLLECTOR.
