Settling a Capital One Account?

I am currently considered 126 days past due on Capital One. Global Credit & Collections is offering a settlement of $4992.00 on a current balance of $5873. Is this the best they are likely to offer me?

You should negotiate with your creditor to settle your debts somewhere around $3500 at least. However, before you negotiate, get the debt validated from Global Credit & Collections.
