How hard it is to settle with capital one?

How hard it is to settle with capital one? I am about 150 days late and in their hardship department. I offered them a settlement and was told I don\'t qualify for one. Just reading prior posts here it seems that they say that to everyone. Has anyone ever successfully settled with capital one? Do I wait until it charges off? I was also told that I can pay $300 to keep it in the hardship department. Is that legit? Any help/advise is appreciated. Thank you and God bless!
Capital One is tough to deal
Capital One is tough to deal with sometimes. It can be hard to settle with Capital one sometimes. But, people have settled with Capital One. Instead of letting it get charged off, you should pay $300 and keep it in the hardship department. Just ask them how it will impact your credit score. That's all.
