Anyone have any tips/suggestions on how to work an offer out with them? The debt is through Cap One, but PRA is the collection agency that is handling it.

Well, my court date is in a few weeks. I'm debating whether I want to call and see if they'll offer a settlement to avoid going to court, or if I should just go to court, see if they show up (the law office they sent the letter from is about 4 hours away), or if the judge will be considerate.
