Capital One Sold Me to Midland Credit Management

I'm finally ready to tackle my small credit card debt with Capital One,

but they have sold my account to Midland Credit Management,

who has Enhanced Recovery Corporation handling the account.


I did some Googling and found out that both Midland and ER have TERRIBLE reputations for being shady and difficult to deal with.

I can be paid in full in less than a year and want to whip this thing once and for all.

Is there someone here who can give me some sound advice on dealing with Enhanced Recovery Corp.?
