Quick question I hope you can answer it. Got sued my Trak America they used a attorney to get a judgement from Chattanooga TN.. Cap One was the plantiff listed but they would or still will not talk to me of the account they said trak america was contracted to collect. well my question is why would the attorneys office or atleast their name minus the attonerys at law header appear on my credit report as a inquiry? why not capital one or even trak america ???? sounds to me like something is fishy with them inquiring on my credit report instead of trak or capital one unless this attorneys office actualy has bought the judgment? please help me with a answer if possible
It doesnt necessarily mean that the attorney bought the debt.
It doesnt necessarily mean that the attorney bought the debt. Trak America or Capital one could have assigned it to them giving them the right pull a credit report. 3rd party contingency is permitted to do so.
