Car Taxes

My Bank of America Account was garnised for vehicle taxes of about $140. The worse part is that BOA charged a $100 "processing fee". I called BOA customer service, and they said that I must call the legal department, which I did. They simply said that is the fee for a garnishment and that's it. My husband was laid off close to a year ago and it is a battle to keep everything afloat. Is there any chance of removing the fee? Who should I talk to?

you cant be garnished without being sued. GO straight to your county courthouse and look up your name. If you were sued and not served properly immediately file a motion to have it set aside for improper service!
