I would call them up and see if you can set up some sort of payment arrangements. Since I'm assuming they already have a judgement, it's compeltly up to them if they want to agree or not.

All you can do is call and negotiate with them until they act on the judgment. Are you sure they have a judgment against you? In other words did you go to court in front of a judge and the judge found in their favor for 6,000. Have they acted on the judgment in any way yet? Typically they go for a garnishment or a lien. I am surprised a repayment plan was not worked out in court since the terms of repayment are really up to the court. The credit card company can not just walk into your home and take 6,000 worth of personal property without court consent.
