So I just started getting these calls from this company, They never respond when I answer the phone, but will leave me mildly rude voicemails inregards to a claim that was placed against me. They never say who they are or who placed the claim against me and when I call the 1-888-530-3668 number I am asked to leave a message if I do not know my parties extention. I do not have any outstanding debt? ANd a couple months before This company started calling me another collections company called me in regards to a 5,000 dollar credit card they said I had 11 years ago? I told that company I never had a credit card 11 years ago, and that it has to be a mistake. So they sent me a identity theft form to fill out and I never hear from them again. Now This new company is calling me and all I can think of is it is inregards to the collections from the other comapny??? I need help on what to do? If I did not know someone stole my identy 11 years ago, how am I supposed to proove It was not me that made such crazy charges??

If you didn't owe the debt, you won't be liable for paying it. You should ask the collection agency to validate the debt. If they are unable to validate the debt, then you should send them a cease and desist letter and ask them to stop contacting you. As far as identity theft is concerned, have a word with a lawyer and he might be able to guide you as to what steps you need to take in this regard.

I think, it???s a scam. You can make a written request for a debt validation letter to them. If they don???t reply within 30 days of receiving the letter, then forward them a ???Cease and Desist??? letter. After that, if they are still trying to contact with you, then file a complaint against them to the State Attorney General or, FTC. Don???t share any personal information with them.
